Reading Notes Option 2

Today, we had to take pictures where we used the "Sky Brothers," "Mr. Green Jeans," low light and night light pictures. The pictures I found the most difficult were the night time pictures because such a low shutter speed was necessary to get a clear picture. I have tried taken night time pictures before and have not been too successful because I didn't use a tripod and so I moved the camera so the picture turned out blurry. Even if I felt like I held still, the picture still ended up looking a little blurry. Today, I attempted to take a night picture without a tripod, and it did not turn out well. I then set my tripod up and the picture improved a lot. I didn't change much for the settings between the two pictures but the tripod made a huge difference in the picture quality. Night and low light photography is tricky because the shutter speed that is necessary to make a good picture is super low and a tripod is needed. The other thing we had to work on was "Mr. Green Jeans." For this, the camera needed to be metered for the green and the meter needed to be set to -2/3 and then the picture was to be recomposed and the picture taken with the settings for the green even though when the picture was recomposed the exposure meter said that it was not set correctly and that either the shutter speed or aperture needed to be changed.
